MINSK, 20 January (BelTA) – BC Tsmoki Minsk will play the final game in the Champions League Group C on 20 January, BelTA has learned.
The Belarusian champion will take on Greece's AEK at the Falcon Club. In the first round of the group stage Rostislav Vergun's men lost to AEK 69-95 in Greece.
Group C standings after five games are as follows: Hapoel – 8 points, AEK – 8, Cholet – 7, and Tsmoki Minsk -7.
Two best teams will advance to the Basketball Champions League playoffs. Spain's Saragos, Tenerife and Burgos, Czech's Nymburg, France's Strasbourg, Russia's Nizhny Novgorod, Germany's Bamberg and Turkey's Ankara and Bursa have already qualified for the playoffs.
