
VITEBSK, 29 June (BelTA) – The cultural center was reopened as Vitebsk celebrated its 1051st birthday on 28 June, BelTA learned.
The center includes two parts: history and entertainment. It is the home base of the folk club of historical re-enactment Vargentorn. It will house interactive expositions about the history of the ancient city from its foundation by Princess Olga to the present.




During the presentation of the center, the participants of the club demonstrated their skills in medieval fight. The Vikings offered Vitebsk Mayor Aleksei Geroyev to try on armor and held a clinic in knightly combat.
