MINSK, 26 August (BelTA) – A blogger from Venezuela, Kayla Pineda, ran an unusual experiment on the streets of Minsk, which created quite a stir on the Internet. She told the Belarus 1 TV channel about the results of her experiment, BelTA has learned.
Recently Kayla Pineda has decided to test one of the stereotypes about Belarus. She filmed a video of herself walking along Minsk avenue wearing white socks.
"It caused such a buzz on social media. I'm even surprised, I didn't expect this. Everyone is saying that I changed my socks. Like they were there," the blogger said. "But no. In fact, I didn’t. My husband and I filmed in this park too, he filmed everything.”
She told the journalists how she arrived at the idea to conduct this experiment. "I see that people really clean up. Even leaves. When it's fall, they remove leaves. Our people will never do such a thing, only at home," she noted. "Then I thought, let's combine useful and pleasant, let's run an experiment. So I did it.”
She shared the result of the walk in her blog. The video gathered a huge number of views and comments. Kayla Pineda concluded: it was clean.
Kayla Pineda remarked that she has changed over the 8 years of living in Belarus. "I became more organized and I don't leave anything for tomorrow. I do everything here and now," she said. "My parents still say: "Tomorrow. Don't worry about it." When I'm at home, it's hard for me to hear that "tomorrow." I'm just used to the fact that here everything is done quickly, you don't have to wait or try to speed things up. We are still not very good at it.”
