A snow and ice sculpture competition took place in Mogilev, featuring close to twenty themed installations in Podnikolye Park.
Local companies and organizations created the sculptures, filling the park with fairy-tale figures, large vehicles, snow slides, and even an ice samovar.

Employees of Mogilevliftmash crafted one display, featuring an ice table, chairs with frozen flowers, and a tower representing their factory. “We dedicated our sculptures to the Year of the Belarusian Woman. Our female employees made the table and chairs,” said Deputy General Director Mariya Konankova. The project took nearly a week, six large buckets of ice, and hundreds of artificial flowers.

Deputy Director Vladimir Lyubchenko noted their interactive display, which included a crocodile slide and ice checkers already in use by children. “The whole team, even former employees, helped,” he said, adding they are already planning for next year.
A detailed ice samovar, created by Domochay in four days, was a visitor favorite. “The samovar symbolizes the home and warmth we put into our products,” Deputy Director Rita Shodzhai.
Residents enjoyed the exhibit. “The park looks beautiful, and there’s so much to see,” shared local Svetlana Dyakova.

Mogilev Mayor Sergei Chertkov praised the new tradition: “The park is very popular, and this snowy town is a wonderful addition. I thank our creative enterprises for their work.”
