GRODNO, 22 November (BelTA) – We are very grateful to Belarus for its help, but we still want to get to Germany, a refugee from Iraqi Kurdistan told BelTA at the temporary accommodation facility set up in the logistics center near the Belarus-Poland border.
“We are very surprised by the treatment we received in Belarus. We like everything here: the food, the attitude of volunteers. Thank you for providing medical assistance,” he said.
According to the refugee, all people in the logistics center are worried about the uncertainty. “We want to get to Germany, it's unsafe to stay in our country. At home, I sold all my property to go to the European Union. But Poland refuses to let us in. We don't understand why,” the refugee said.
