MINSK, 6 October (BelTA) – The NATO international military exercise Iron Wolf 2025-II is scheduled to take place in Lithuania on 6-18 October, as announced by the press service of the Lithuanian Ministry of National Defense.
The exercise will take place at the Pabradė training ground, located 15 km from the Belarusian border. Taking part in the exercise will be about 3,000 military personnel from Lithuania and other European countries, including Belgium, the Czech Republic, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Croatia, and Germany.
The exercise will involve approximately 650 units of military equipment, such as tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, self-propelled artillery units, and armored personnel carriers. The use of pyrotechnics and the movement of military equipment on public roads are also planned. During the exercise, the servicemen will practice both offensive and defensive operations.
The Perkūno Griausmas 2025 exercise has been taking place in Lithuania since September. During the two months, 17,000 personnel will take part in this training.
