MINSK, 17 August (BelTA) – More evidence of the violence the
Lithuanian side demonstrates towards refugees has been uncovered,
representatives of the State Border Committee of Belarus told BelTA.
Another incident happened in the area controlled by the Lida branch of the Belarusian border service on 17 August. The video provided by the Belarusian border service demonstrates how Lithuanian border guards are trying to push refugees into Belarus’ territory.
There were kids, including babes in arms, and a pregnant woman, among the refugees.
Lithuanian border guards deliberately ignored all requests for asylum, the source said.
