MINSK, 1 February (BelTA) – There was a feeling of unity at the presidential election in Belarus, Chairman of the Minsk City Election Commission Aleksandr Shchekovich said in the latest episode of BelTA’s project “The Nation Speaks”.
“We understand that the work of the commissions is always stressful. Members of the commissions said that the voters were different. There was a feeling of friendliness, gratitude to the members of the commissions. There was a sense of celebration, unity. People came with a good mood. When they thanked the members of precinct commissions for taking such a load of organizing the elections, they wanted to work even better,” Aleksandr Shchekovich said.
According to Chairman of the Mogilev Oblast election commission Yevgeny Alekso, it is important for the dialogue with the population to continue. “It should go,” he added.
