MINSK, 25 September (BelTA) - The Marathon of Unity will cover 13 cities, but the list can be expanded, head of the working group for the Marathon of Unity Anna Lukashenko said at a press conference dedicated to the nationwide social and cultural campaign Marathon of Unity in Minsk on 25 September, BelTA learned.
"We are planning to cover 13 cities: Brest, Baranovichi, Pinsk, Lida, Grodno, Soligorsk, Gomel, Zhlobin, Molodechno, Bobruisk, Mogilev, Vitebsk and Orsha. These cities were not chosen randomly. They have the capacities for a large-scale program. In part, this determined the choice of cities," Anna Lukashenko said.
Nevertheless, Anna Lukashenko noted, the list of cities can be expanded. "This issue is still open. We are planning a fairly long-term campaign, and there is an assumption that the list of cities can be expanded," she stressed.
