MINSK, 4 September (BelTA) – A special exercise for logistic support forces and assets Eshelon 2025 [Echelon] is in progress in the military training area Losvido, representatives of the Belarusian Defense Ministry told BelTA.
Logistic support units have been deployed in field conditions and are practicing a number of operations. Close attention is paid to technical reconnaissance, organization of evacuation and repairs of damaged vehicles while dealing with the adversary’s possible drone strikes. The troops are practicing the operation of a collecting depot where damaged vehicles and military hardware undergo minor repairs.
In a different area combat service support units practiced delivering ammunition and other material resources in the interests of the Collective Rapid Response Forces of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
A corridor fitted with a net has been set up in addition to aerial observation posts in order to protect transport vehicles carrying material resources in the open from drone strikes.
