Expert on Poland’s “democratization”: Poles have become foreigners on their land

MINSK, 25 November (BelTA) – Due to the so-called democratization of Poland, Poles have become foreigners on their land and most enterprises have been bought out by foreign companies, Polish political scientist and publicist Tomasz Gryguć said in a new episode of the V Teme [On Point] project on BelTA’s YouTube channel.

“Perhaps some Belarusians want to see their country ‘democratic’. Then I would like them to get in a car or on a bus and come to Poland. They will see the democratic Poland, where most companies, most businesses are not Polish. Polish factories and workplaces have long been liquidated. Those that are left belong France, Germany, Belgium, England, and so on. There are fewer American companies. Polish business is still functioning, but it is not the leading force,” Tomasz Gryguć said.

According to the political scientist, the servicing of the Polish state debt amounts to 100 billion zloty per year. “Let the Belarusians come and see for themselves that Poles have become foreigners on their land. On top of that, we had to welcome 8-9 million Ukrainians as a result of the geopolitical actions of the United States. They live well, set up their own businesses. They have bought out the old Ursus tractor factory. Ukrainians are prospering and gradually becoming the middle class in Poland,” Tomasz Gryguć said.
