Belavia adjusts Dubai-Minsk flights schedule amid Middle East airspace restrictions

MINSK, 28 February (BelTA) – Belavia is forced to adjust its flight schedule due to the closure of airspace in several Middle Eastern countries, BelTA has learned.

Due to the UAE’s decision to close its airspace, Belavia flight B2 718 Dubai-Minsk, scheduled for today, 28 February, is preliminarily postponed to 1 March at 08:00 local time.

Passengers are being accommodated in hotels while awaiting departure.

The nearest flights between Minsk and Dubai are planned to be operated with A330-200 wide-body aircraft in order to transport passengers affected by the 1 March cancellation.

Passengers may choose either a refund for the cancelled flight (at the place of purchase) or a free change of travel date.

Passengers can check up-to-date departure and arrival times in the Flight Information Board section on belavia.by.

Belavia emphasized that it is continuously monitoring the situation in the region and will continue to respond promptly to any changes.
