MINSK, 1 March (BelTA) - The Consulate General of Belarus in Shanghai hosted talks between Consul General Andrei Andreev and a delegation of the China Committee for the Promotion of International Trade of Shanghai's Pudong District, BelTA learned from the Belarusian embassy.
The parties discussed practical steps to develop interaction between the Republic of Belarus and the Shanghai pilot zone for Silk Road e-commerce cooperation in order to participate in the Digital Silk Road projects.
Special attention was paid to the establishment of direct business cooperation between Belarusian enterprises and Shanghai manufacturers of hi-tech electronic, industrial, and medical equipment.
In order to increase supplies of a wide range of Belarusian goods to Eastern China, the parties reached agreements on organizing mutual business visits, bilateral events, assistance to China in opening representative offices and showrooms of Belarusian exporters in Shanghai, and Belarus’ wide participation in the next Chinese exhibition Shanghai Expo 2024.
