Belarusian Belpochta wins silver international philatelic competition

MINSK, 14 November (BelTA) – The Belarusian postal service Belpochta has won a silver medal at an international philatelic competition, BelTA learned from the postal service.

Since 2008, the Universal Postal Union (UPU) and the International Federation of Philately (FIP) have jointly organized the the UPU Competition Class event for stamp-issuing postal organizations to showcase excellence in stamp design and production. Postage stamps are displayed at major international and world philatelic exhibitions. The FIP and UPU-accredited experts evaluated each submission, honoring the most outstanding contributions with certificates of excellence. 
“The event is an excellent opportunity to introduce foreign collectors to Belarusian philatelic products,” Belpochta noted. “For the international competition we presented a thematic exposition titled as 'From Belarus with Love' featuring postal products issued from 2021 to 2024.”

By decision of the international jury, the Belarusian exposition was awarded a silver medal in Group B of the competitive class (countries producing between 30 and 69 stamps annually).

Belpochta’s exposition esd featured at several international philatelic exhibitions throughout 2025: URUGUAY 2025 (Punta del Este, Uruguay, 17-22 February), BERNABA 2025 (Bern, Switzerland, 14-17 May), GASS 2025 (Chicago, USA, 14-17 August), PHILAKOREA 2025 (Seoul, Republic of Korea, 29 August - 2 September), and UAE (Dubai, UAE, 15-19 October).
