Belarusian and Chinese universities sign memorandum of cooperation

MINSK, 13 October (BelTA) – Maksim Tank Belarusian State Pedagogical University (BSPU) and China' Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology (NUIST) have signed a memorandum of cooperation, BelTA learned from the BSPU press service.

The document was signed by BSPU First Deputy Rector Svetlana Kopteva and NUIST Vice President Jiang Zhihong during an online meeting.

The memorandum is meant to establish the partnership between the two universities and to promote a long-term, effective, and mutually beneficial cooperation aimed at developing educational and research potential.

The BSPU and NUIST have outlined areas of cooperation for the implementation of the memorandum. They include promotion of educational programs of various formats for students and teaching staff abroad, development of research activities and promotion of their results, exchange of specialists for carrying out joint research and serving mutual interests, and exchange of academic papers and information in education and scientific research. Moreover, the two universities are keen to promote various types of cooperation with organizations that provide financing for educational and research activities.
