MINSK, 5 July (BelTA) - Belarus and the United Arab Emirates are planning to develop cooperation in high technology, BelTA learned from the press service of the State Committee for Science and Technology (SCST).
SCST Chairman Sergei Shlychkov met with UAE Ambassador to Belarus Ibrahim Salim Mohamed Al Musharrakh to discuss cooperation in high technology, attracting investments from the UAE to Belarus and export of innovative developments to new markets.
Considerable attention was paid to the possibility of implementing joint R&D and innovative projects, including in the field of green technology.
The ambassador noted that the UAE government invests heavily in advanced technology and expressed confidence that Belarus and the UAE can achieve great results through joint efforts.
