MINSK, 23 April (BelTA) - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Uzbekistan Aleksandr Ogorodnikov participated in the opening ceremony of the 27th international exhibition Education & Profession 2025, the Belarusian Embassy in Tashkent, Uzbekistan told BelTA.
The exhibition brought together more than 100 educational institutions from various countries, including Belarus, Russia, Uzbekistan, Türkiye, Canada, the USA, the UAE, South Korea, Italy, Malaysia and Poland. Visitors had the opportunity to explore educational programs, gather information about university admissions, scholarships, overseas study options and the most in-demand areas of training.
Ambassador Aleksandr Ogorodnikov delivered a welcoming address to the event participants, highlighting the eagerness of Uzbekistan’s youth to acquire profound knowledge and skills. He drew attention to the advantages of Belarusian universities, particularly the wide range of specialties offered by the Belarusian National Technical University (BNTU). During the event, the ambassador visited the BNTU stand to learn about the educational programs and joint projects being implemented with the university's partners in Uzbekistan.
The event is annually held with support of Uzbekistan’s Preschool and School Education Ministry, the Youth Affairs Agency and Tashkent's Public Education Department. Traditionally, it attracts significant interest from senior school students, their parents and teachers.
