MINSK, 26 December (BelTA) – Tatiana Kublitskaya's picture Pilipka (Belarus) has been awarded a diploma for original graphics at the 11th international animated film festival Tindirindis 2013 (Vilnius), BelTA learnt from Belarusfilm Studio.
The plot of the cartoon is based on a Belarusian fairy-tale. A little boy named Pilipka was so kind as to escape the clutches of the evil witch Baba Yaga, who felt mercy for the boy.
Tatiana Kublitskaya's picture was also recognized the best at the 53rd International Film Festival for Children and Youth in Zlin, the Czech Republic and received awards at the 14th Children Film Festival Fairy-Tale in Moscow and the 18th Open Russian Festival of Animated Film in Suzdal.
The international animated film festival Tindirindis has been an annual event since 2003. The festival promotes an exchange of creative experience, new ideas, styles and technologies.
