MINSK, 4 June (BelTA) - A memorandum of understanding has been signed between Belarus’ National Center of Intellectual Property and the Intellectual Property Office of Mongolia, BelTA has learned.
“The memorandum will contribute to the maximum use of the potential of intellectual property systems of the two countries in order to actively protect the interests of national applicants when entering foreign markets,” the center said.
Representatives of the Intellectual Property Office of Mongolia made a presentation of the patent office of Mongolia, told about its history, the current state of affairs, and also the prospects for the development of the intellectual property system of Mongolia. In 2023, the Intellectual Property Office of Mongolia received 4,282 applications for legal protection of trademarks, of which 116 applications came from Belarus.
Belarus, in turn, highlighted the key aspects of its intellectual property system.
