MINSK, 11 February (BelTA) – Ukraine has not notified Belarus about the strengthening of border controls, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee.
“Media reports say Ukraine has reinforced border controls in relation to citizens of the Republic of Belarus. This includes the refusal of entry without explanation, additional paperwork, as well as video recordings of interviews. In this regard, we would like to inform that the State Border Committee of the Republic of Belarus has not received any official notifications from Ukraine about changes in the rules and procedures of entering Ukraine,” the report reads.
