MINSK, 20 December (BelTA) – Kazakhstan offers Belarus to produce building materials together and cooperate in wood processing, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Belarus Timur Zhaksylykov said during a press conference in Minsk on 20 December, BelTA has learned.
He emphasized that the governments of the two countries have worked out many projects in industrial cooperation. Cooperation in other areas is promising too. "A total of 11 cooperation projects in mechanical engineering is currently underway, including the production of tractors, fire-fighting machinery and elevators," the ambassador said.
Ambassador Timur Zhaksylykov pointed out the effective work and the growth of the joint venture to produce Belarusian tractors in Kazakhstan. He remarked the successful development of localization, which is a step forward, in his opinion.
He also highlighted the importance of the fact that Kazakhstan has created a favorable investment climate and offers foreign investors a wide range of support.
"We have great opportunities to produce building materials together with Belarus and cooperate in the woodworking industry," the diplomat stressed.
