MINSK, 13 December (BelTA) - Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko will take part in the nationwide meeting of student teams on 13 December, BelTA has learned.

Minsk Palace of Sports is hosting the event. The head of state will get acquainted with the exhibition celebrating the student volunteer movement. The exhibition consists of six thematic sections presenting teaching, production, construction, agricultural, medical and service student volunteer teams.

The president will attend the closing ceremony of the third labor semester of 2024.
The head of state was invited to attend the meeting during his visit to the Tractor Stadium in Minsk. The mixed student construction teams took part in the renovation of the stadium, and their members were also present at the president toured the stadium. The students took the opportunity to invite the head of state to the nationwide meeting of student teams in December this year. Aleksandr Lukashenko said that meetings with student team members are heartwarming for him, because they bring up memories of his student life. “If I have time, I will be happy to drop by,” he said.
