MINSK, 27 December (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko thanked teachers for their creative labor and patience as he attended a charity event for children within the framework of the Our Children campaign in Minsk on 27 December, BelTA learned.
“Dear children, our dear patriots: teachers and educators! It is not because it is the pre-election time in the country. No, I sincerely think so. I wish you a Happy New Year,” the head of state said.
Aleksandr Lukashenko addressed not only those present in the hall of the Palace of the Republic but also the those who will see it on TV: “I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your creative labor, for your patience, for educating the future generation. I thank you very much. Please accept my most sincere wishes and congratulations on the coming holiday”.
