MINSK, 8 November (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko chopped wood in the evening on 7 November. The video was released by the Pul Pervogo Telegram channel, BelTA has learned.
“Greetings to our journalists!” the head of state said.
In this way, Aleksandr Lukashenko supported the participants of the wood chopping challenge among media representatives. The event was traditionally held on 7 November on the bank of the Vyacha Reservoir near Minsk. The head of state had attended the championship on multiple occasions in previous years. This time, however, he made a working trip to Zhitkovichi District on the public holiday.
Even so, the head of state found a way to be part of the action, expressing his solidarity with the 3,500 attendees by chopping wood himself.
