MINSK, 18 March (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated active-duty and retired employees of the internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on the formation anniversary of these troops, BelTA learned from the press service of the head of state.
“You have a tough job and you are on duty around the clock ensuring public safety, protecting critical government facilities, deactivating and destroying explosive devices. You help educate young Fatherland defenders through military-patriotic clubs,” the message of congratulations reads.
Courage, bravery, patriotism, a high level of training and combat capabilities of internal troops are an indestructible foundation for maintaining law and order and protecting the peaceful life of Belarusian citizens, the head of state emphasized.
Aleksandr Lukashenko addressed special thanks to retired employees who made an invaluable contribution to the formation and development of the internal troops. “As a baton of valor and honor, you pass on the traditions and your invaluable experience to a new generation of employees,” the president noted.
According to him, all generations of internal troops, from privates to generals, deserve great respect for their military brotherhood, strength and patience, energy and self-sacrifice, as well as professionalism.
The head of state thanked them all for their dedication, conscientious and impeccable service, and wished them good health and many successes in their noble cause of serving the Fatherland: “Take care of yourselves, your loved ones and our dear Belarus!”
