MINSK, 31 July (BelTA) – It is necessary to comprehensively review the system of assigning government officials to supervise cooperation with specific countries, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he met with heads of Belarus’ diplomatic missions, BelTA has learned.

The head of state recalled previously approving government-proposed export support mechanisms for entering new promising markets. “Financial resources should be allocated not only for long-term export contracts but also for targeted development of our own overseas distribution and logistics infrastructure,” stated Aleksandr Lukashenko.

The president also ordered to thoroughly analyze the practice of assigning officials and executives to oversee cooperation with specific nations. “This isn’t an honorary title or voluntary duty,” emphasized the head of state.
