MINSK, 17 October (BelTA) - The Belarusian polar explorers gifted
Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko the mineral Enderbit during a
meeting in Minsk on 17 October, BelTA has learned.
This mineral is about four billion years old. It is the main mineral of the Earth's crystalline basement.
The
mineral can be found on the Earth's surface only in Antarctica. The
mineral presented to the head of state was extracted near the Belarusian
Antarctic station Gora Vechernyaya.
