Lukashenko: First-ever class of civil aviation pilots will graduate in independent Belarus this year

MINSK, 2 November (BelTA) – On the occasion of Civil Aviation Workers’ Day, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko issued a congratulatory message to the country’s air transport industry personnel and veterans, BelTA learned from the Belarusian leader’s press service.

Extending his congratulations, the president noted that the nation’s aviators are entrusted with the important task of safe and timely air transport, a mission they are accomplishing capably despite the challenges. 

“The Belarusian aviation sector is demonstrating robust growth through the establishment of new routes, renewal of its aircraft fleet, and the introduction of advanced repair technologies. Concurrently, service is improving and airport infrastructure is being modernized. Furthermore, the inaugural graduation of civil aviation pilots this academic year will bolster the country’s human and technological sovereignty,” the president stated.

Aleksandr Lukashenko paid special tribute to the industry’s veterans, whose profound traditions continue to steer the team forward.

“I am confident that your drive for success and dedication to the interests of the state will enable you to continue responsibly addressing the challenges facing the transport sector,” the Belarusian leader emphasized.

Marking the occasion, the president wished all civil aviation workers good health, prosperity, the fulfillment of their plans, and success in reaching new professional heights.
