MINSK, 6 November (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended condolences to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. of the Philippines in connection with the aftermath of Typhoon Kalmaegi, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“The news about the catastrophic aftermath of Typhoon Kalmaegi, which struck Cebu province, has been received with deep sorrow in our country,” the message of condolences reads.
During this difficult time of trial for the Philippines, the Belarusian head of state expressed words of sympathy and support to the country's president and to the families and friends of the victims. Aleksandr Lukashenko also wished a speedy recovery to all those affected and for the restoration of the regions of the Philippines impacted by the natural disaster.
