Lukashenko congratulates China president on his birthday

MINSK, 15 June (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping on his birthday, the press service of the Belarusian leader told BelTA.

“Your Excellency! Dear friend! Accept my warmest greetings on the occasion of Your birthday. Under your sensitive leadership the People’s Republic of China has become one of the key players in the international arena. It occupies a leading position among the largest industrial countries. China has huge foreign exchange reserves and colossal scientific and technical potential. Your strategic vision is of great significance in shaping the global agenda and maintaining peace and stability across the vast Eurasian space,” Aleksandr Lukashenko pointed out.

The head of state remarked that this year China sums up results of the 14th five-year plan, completes the government program Made in China, is working on a document that will charter a new course of the country’s social and economic development in the near future. “Following the path You have charted, China will accomplish all the identified goals without a doubt,” the president stressed.

“Today relations between Minsk and Beijing develop in the spirit of the all-weather and all-round strategic partnership while interstate cooperation is shifting from primarily trade and economic cooperation to technological cooperation at a confident rate. I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude for the personal attention You pay to strengthening Belarusian-Chinese interaction and promoting joint projects. I sincerely wish Your Excellency good health, happiness, prosperity, and success in accomplishing state tasks,” the congratulatory message reads.
