MINSK, 1 July (BelTA) - Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party, President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping as the country celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Chinese Communist Party, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
The head of state remarked that the history of modern China is inseparably connected with the Communist Party. “Founded in 1921, it has turned into one of the biggest political parties in the world, and the motto ‘Serve the People!' has been an organizing power for the development of the state,” the message of greetings reads. “Having combined communist ideals with the practice of the Chinese revolution, the Communist Party has efficiently carried out socialist transformations and that helped turn the People's Republic of China into a strong and prosperous state.”
According to the President of Belarus, today Beijing confidently pursues the independent foreign policy promoting peaceful development and the strategy of openness. “Thanks to the wise and just solutions of the Communist Party, China is by right considered a guarantor of security protecting the interests of oppressed countries on the international arena,” the Belarusian leader stressed.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Xi Jinping strong health and new achievements. He also wished Chinese people happiness and wellbeing.
