Lukashenko: Belarus will stay true to its peacekeeping mission

MINSK, 23 September (BelTA) – Belarus will stay true to its peacekeeping mission, Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko said during the inaugural ceremony in the Palace of Independence in Minsk on 23 September, BelTA has learned.

Belarus will remain open and friendly, like any strong country, Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed. “Being located at the crossroads of geopolitical platforms, we will not abandon our peacekeeping mission,” he noted.

According to the president, this approach is supported by the Belarusians as it is in sync with their way of living and values. “Having stood our ground in the face of the massive use of technologies [of a color revolution], we will continue to be a donor of stability as we have been so far,” the head of state added.
