MINSK, 1 September (BelTA) - Belarus will continue to launch new joint projects with Russia, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he spoke at the open lesson "Historical memory - the road to the future" on 1 September, BelTA has learned.
“We have a whole array of joint projects with Russia: starting from military-strategic to ordinary ones. They include the construction of Belarusian ports near St. Petersburg and in Murmansk, and other places. Joint import substitution projects are huge. Right now Russia is allocating about $2 billion for these joint projects. There is a myriad of projects,” said the president.
Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed that Belarus would continue strengthening the relations with its main strategic partner, Russia.
