Union State Supreme State Council meeting scheduled for 25 February

MINSK, 6 February (BelTA) – A meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Belarus-Russia Union State has been scheduled for 25 February, State Secretary of the Union State Sergei Glazyev told journalists, BelTA reports.

The agenda for the Supreme State Council meeting includes a number of important issues. “The meeting will review the work to achieve the main goals of the Union State Treaty and discuss new directions for the Treaty for the period of 2027-2029,” stated Sergei Glazyev.
The organization of cross-border commuter rail service between regions of Belarus and Russia will also be discussed. “A decree on this matter is planned for adoption,” Sergei Glazyev added.
