MINSK, 15 May (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik held a meeting with his Azerbaijan counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov in Baku on 15 May 2024, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties discussed a wide range of issues on the bilateral and multilateral agenda. Special consideration was given to the development of trade and economic, humanitarian and inter-parliamentary cooperation.
The ministers stressed the importance of expanding and updating the legal framework of bilateral cooperation. The strategic nature of the relations between the two countries and mutual interest in further strengthening the ties between Minsk and Baku in a wide range of areas were emphasized.
