ISLAMABAD, 16 October (BelTA) — The heads of government of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states, including Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko, have signed documents on cooperation following a meeting of the SCO Heads of Government Council in Islamabad on 16 October, BelTA has learned.
The Council adopted the decisions on the SCO budget for 2025, the SCO budget performance report for 2023, and the SCO Secretariat's report on events and meetings held as part of the SCO Program of Multilateral Trade and Economic Cooperation. The heads of government also adopted decisions on the staffing structure of the Secretariat and the Executive Committee of the SCO Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure and on the development concept of the New Economic Dialogue among the SCO member states.
A joint communique following the meeting of the SCO Heads of Government Council and a protocol on amendments to the agreement on procedure for the formation and execution of the SCO budget from 1 December 2017 were also inked.
