MINSK, 1 July (BelTA) - Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maksim Ryzhenkov had a telephone conversation with Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov on 30 June, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.
The ministers discussed the intensive schedule of Belarusian-Russian meetings at the highest and high levels, exchanged views on the current issues of bilateral cooperation, Union State integration and current international problems.
Special consideration was given to the interaction between Belarus and Russia with various international organizations. Sergey Lavrov congratulated Maksim Ryzhenkov on his appointment as Foreign Minister and wished him success in his new responsible job.
