MINSK, 25 November (BelTA) - Director of the Belarusian National Center for Marketing Nikolai Borisevich met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Belarus Zhang Wenchuan and highlighted the need to raise awareness of the Chinese business community about the economic potential of Belarus, BelTA learned from the National Center for Marketing.
The parties discussed joint approaches to supporting business between Belarus and China, including small and medium-sized business, the development of bilateral cooperation and the role of the National Marketing Center as a national coordinator of work in the SCO Business Council, in particular cooperation with China.
The Chinese ambassador noted the high quality of Belarusian products and the interest of the Chinese side in importing them. The embassy also expressed its readiness to assist the center with establishing cooperation with Chinese industry unions as part of the development of a partner network in China.
