MINSK, 16 December (BelTA) – In the light of the situation on the ground the diplomats of the Belarusian Embassy in Syria returned to Minsk on 15 December, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“Belarusian Ambassador to Syria Yuri Sluka will remain in Minsk for some time for consultations, which will result in an in-depth assessment of the situation,” the ministry said.
The Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its gratitude to all Russian colleagues, who helped the Belarusian diplomats to come back home safely.
