
MINSK, 12 May (BelTA) - State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus Aleksandr Volfovich met with Zimbabwean Minister of State for National Security Lovemore Matuke on 12 May, BelTA has learned.
The talks focused on the development of promising areas of bilateral cooperation in security. The parties praised the positive dynamics of interaction between the two countries. Aleksandr Volfovich and Lovemore Matuke expressed concern about the growing challenges and threats in international and regional security. Belarus and Zimbabwe also reaffirmed their commitment to the principle of universal, equal and indivisible security on the basis of mutual trust and respect, taking into account each other's interests.



The parties expressed interest in developing mutually beneficial cooperation on a wide range of relations at the ministerial level, as well as to jointly counter current threats to national security.
