MINSK, 7 January (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Turkmenistan Stanislav Chepurnoi presented copies of credentials to Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov the other day, the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.
During the meeting the current state of Belarus-Turkmenistan relations and prospects of their development were discussed. The parties confirmed interest in intensifying trade, economy, cultural, and humanitarian cooperation. They also spoke in favor of tapping into the potential of the chambers of commerce and industry of the two countries for participation in exhibition events.
Rashid Meredov congratulated Stanislav Chepurnoi on his appointment and wished him fruitful work. Rashid Meredov said the Turkmen side is ready to provide assistance and support for Stanislav Chepurnoi’s diplomatic work.
