MINSK, 7 November (BelTA) - Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Igor Sekreta met with a delegation from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, led by Anatoly Bashkin, Director of the Department for Sub-Saharan African Countries, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Russian delegation was in Minsk to participate in ministerial consultations on Sub-Saharan African affairs.

The parties praised the high level of their cooperation across various areas and highlighted the need to further expand their participation in relevant events. A particular emphasis was placed on continuing close coordination between the foreign policy agencies of Belarus and Russia. The goal of this coordination is to leverage their combined potential for advancing mutual economic and humanitarian interests in the countries of Sub-Saharan Africa.
