MINSK, 10 February (BelTA) - On 9 February, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Vietnam Vladimir Borovikov attended a reception hosted by Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh for the diplomatic corps on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2026, BelTA learned from the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Hanoi.

During a brief conversation, the ambassador congratulated Pham Minh Chinh on the New Year, noted the active momentum of Belarusian-Vietnamese cooperation at the new level of strategic partnership, and confirmed Belarus’ commitment to implementing all agreements reached at the highest level.
The head of the Belarusian diplomatic mission also expressed hope for maintaining the high pace and level of bilateral contacts in the new year.

On the sidelines of the event, a brief exchange of views on certain aspects of the international and bilateral agenda was held with a number of high-ranking representatives of Vietnamese state bodies and heads of foreign diplomatic missions.
