Belarus invites Serbia to develop cooperation in communications, ICT

MINSK, 8 August (BelTA) - Belarusian Communications and Informatization Minister Konstantin Shulgan reaffirmed Belarus’ readiness to develop cooperation with Serbia in the line of ministries as he met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Serbia to Belarus Ilina Vukajlovic, BelTA learned from the press service of the ministry.

During the talks, Konstantin Shulgan noted the constructive nature of cooperation between the countries in a variety of areas.

“We are ready to establish an active dialogue with Serbia in communications, ICT, digital development, exchange of experience in the implementation of smart city technologies, development of e-government,” Konstantin Shulgan said.

To activate these areas of cooperation, Serbia was invited to consider the possibility of developing a document on cooperation in digitalization between the relevant ministries of the two countries.
