MINSK, 22 January (BelTA) – Belarus’ Ambassador to Georgia Nikolai Rogashchuk met with Chairman of the Committee on Regional Policy and Local Self-Government of the Parliament of Georgia and Head of the Friendship Group with the Parliament of Belarus Irakli Kadagishvili, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The parties discussed the resumption of inter-parliamentary interaction, as well as avenues for developing mutually beneficial cooperation between the parliamentary friendship groups of the two states,” the ministry shared the details of the meeting.
The parties agreed to strengthen working contacts between the legislative bodies of Belarus and Georgia.
