MINSK, 29 July (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maksim Ryzhenkov and Minister of Foreign Affair of Ethiopia Gedion Timothewos held talks in Minsk on 29 July, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

It was the first official visit by Ethiopia’s top diplomat to Belarus.

The ministers reviewed the full spectrum of Belarus-Ethiopia cooperation, with particular emphasis on implementing previously agreed initiatives. Both parties expressed mutual interest in expanding trade relations and strengthening collaboration in food security, while also broadening humanitarian and cultural exchanges.

The foreign ministers discussed practical mechanisms for agricultural cooperation.
