MINSK, 25 July (BelTA) - A Belarusian delegation headed by CEC member Aleksandr Yuzhik arrived in Caracas, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Central Election Commission (CEC).
At the invitation of the National Electoral Council of Venezuela, members of the delegation will observe, in the capacity of international observers, the preparation and conduct of the presidential election in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela scheduled for 28 July.
The National Election Council of Venezuela also accredited Pavel Popko, a member of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, and Sergei Syrankov, the first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Belarus, as international observers.
