MINSK, 5 October (BelTA) - Igor Bely, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Bahrain (with concurrent accreditation), presented copies of his credentials to Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain, on 5 October, BelTA learned from the Belarusian embassy in the UAE.
The ceremony was held via video conference. The minister of foreign affairs of Bahrain wished the ambassador success in his mission.
The parties noted the high level of mutual understanding between the two countries and emphasized the significant potential for developing cooperation in trade, economic, investment, and humanitarian sectors. The parties identified ways to intensify contacts between the business communities of Belarus and Bahrain, as well as to expand the legal framework of bilateral relations.
The Belarusian ambassador and the minister of foreign affairs of Bahrain confirmed their mutual interest in deepening the political dialogue and implementing specific joint projects of mutual interest.
