MINSK, 10 February (BelTA) - On 9 February Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to India Mikhail Kasko participated in the 1st BRICS Sherpa/Sous-Sherpa meeting in Delhi as a representative of the Republic of Belarus as a BRICS partner country, BelTA learned from the Belarusian diplomatic mission in India.
In his speech, he thanked the organizers for the invitation, noting that partner countries had not previously participated in such meetings. The Ambassador conveyed a message from Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko. The Belarusian leader expressed the confidence that India's chairmanship will bring new achievements and strengthen BRICS as an influential international forum.

Belarus is ready to share its technological expertise and achievements in the fields of food and water security for the harmonious development of BRICS countries.
