Agenda of Union State summit detailed 

MOSCOW, 17 February (BelTA) - Seven items have been placed on the agenda of the upcoming meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State, BelTA learned from the website of the Permanent Committee of the Union State of Belarus and Russia.

“The Supreme State Council of the Union State will meet in Moscow on 26 February 2026,” the statement from the Permanent Committee reads.

The Supreme State Council is set to consider the guidelines for the Union State Treaty, to finalize the matter concerning the organization and development of cross-border suburban passenger rail service of the Union State between the adjacent border territories of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation and the regions of the Republic of Belarus.

It is expected that decisions will be made on the establishment of the Union State Committee for Standardization and Quality and on the winners of the Union State Literature and Art Awards for 2025-2026. Mutual support and cooperation in the field of international justice are also planned for discussion.

In addition, the agenda includes items on the main agenda items for the meetings of the Supreme State Council of the Union State for 2026 and on the progress in the execution of the decisions by the Supreme State Council.
